HOWTO : install the sandbox solution package
  • Connect to the SharePoint site collection's root site
  • Navigate to the site settings using the Site Actions menu
  • In the galleries section, click the solutions link
1.Solutions.PNG
  • Upload the ANO.SPImageFieldUpload.Sandbox.wsp package
  • Activate the solution
2.SolutionActivated.PNG
  • You're done. When editing publishing pages, the link should appear on each image field, allowing you to upload images directly from your computer.

HOWTO : unregister jQuery
If jQuery is already registered in your site, you might want to deactivate the jQuery registration feature that is provided in the package :

HOWTO : provision the script manually, for advanced scenarios
If you want to integrate the script without using the sandbox package, follow these steps :
  • Upload jQuery script and spimagefieldupload.js to any SharePoint Library within your site
1.UploadScripts.PNG
  • Register both scripts in your master page (Edit your master page with SharePoint Designer and add script blocks for jquery-1.7.2.min.js and spimagefieldupload.)
2.RegisterScripts.PNG
  • You're done.

Hello anouvel,

We used the js file and it was working great. But suddenly it stopped working. In the UI we are getting the following error.

/sites/BVoice/Lists/BVUILibrary/UILibrary/js/spimagefieldupload.js
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (NOT FOUND)

please help us to resolve this issue.

Best regards,
Raj Sekhar.
